1/10 oz Chinese Gold Panda Coin

Among investors and collectors alike, since its debut in 1982, the Chinese Gold Panda Coin Series has become an absolute favorite. This undeniably striking rendition is crafted from 1/10 oz .999 pure gold. This acclaimed series is now in its 39th year of production (counting 2021).

Struck at the Chinese Mint, the reverse side of this coin shows the city of Beijing and a classic image of the Temple of Heaven.

On the obverse side of this coin, the new panda design is displayed. This side of the coin’s specific design changes annually – with each new series release (excluding the same design in 2001 and 2002). Some designs have included close images of the panda's face, the mother panda holding its cub, the panda eating bamboo, and more.

Fully backed by the People's Bank of China, the face value of this coin is 50 Yuan.
