1 oz Chinese Panda Gold Coin

One of the world's longest running gold bullion programs, the Chinese Gold Panda has had a lengthy run – second only to the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf. In random years from 1982 to 2015, this coin is now available in a 1 oz. weight made of (one Troy ounce) .999 pure gold.

The reverse side of this coin shows the classic image of the Temple of Heaven.

On the obverse side of this coin, the new panda design is displayed. The same panda design is only used on the 2001 and 2002 coins. Otherwise, to focus on the panda species in various aspects, this side of the coin’s specific design changes annually – with each new series release.

Fully backed by the People's Bank of China, the face value of this coin is 500 Yuan.
