1/10 American Gold Eagle Coin

For those looking to start a new gold investment portfolio and/or to increase their gold holdings, this coin is the most affordable and smallest in the series. It is made from 1/10 Troy oz. of actual gold content. Since its 1986 introduction, it is one of the United States Mint's best-selling gold coins.

This coin, on its reverse side, shows a male eagle flying over its nest containing hatchlings and a female eagle. There is an olive branch in the male eagle’s claws. This is a Miley Busiek design.

The obverse side of this coin features a walking Lady Liberty with the rays of the sun in the background. This design is adapted from the famed Gold Double Eagle design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
