Name | $10 Indian Head Gold Eagle Coin XF |
Weight | 0.483800 troy oz |
Metal Type | Gold |
Produced from 1908 to 1933 by the United States meant, this Indian Gold Eagle $10 coin would be the final, and third, version ever released. Its exceptional purity of 90.0%, because it was produced immediately before the gold currency cessation, makes it extremely valuable. This particular coin is in XF (Extremely Fine) condition.
On the reverse side of this coin, the traditional Heraldic Eagle emblem has been revised by its designer, Saint Gaudens. A more dignified, reserved bald eagle replaces the traditional spread winged eagle. On top of a set of arrows and an olive branch, it is carefully perched. The obverse side of this coin features the same designer’s portrayal of Lady Liberty in a traditional Native American war bonnet.
