The design for the 2020 Austrian Silver Philharmonic coin was originally minted in 2008. Of all Europe's silver bullion coins, it is possibly the most well-known. When the minting of the Gold Philharmonic Coin began, in 1989, the design was first seen.
The Great Organ of the Golden Hall in the Music Hall of Musikverein, Vienna appears on the obverse side of this coin. Accompanying it are the words "1 UNZE FEINSILBER” AND "REPUBLIK OSTERREICH" above the organ. The monetary denomination and year of issue are also shown here.
The 2020 Silver Harmonic’s reverse side includes a depiction of an arrangement of string and wind instruments commonly associated with an orchestra (harp, bassoon, Vienna horn, violin, cello). The words " WEINER PHILHARMONIC" border the coin’s top.
